shareWho We Share Data With
Firebase (Google): Hosting, authentication, and database infrastructure. Data is stored in Google Cloud under their Data Processing Addendum.
Credit bureaux: ID number and financial information is shared with licensed credit bureaux only for rental application processing, with your explicit consent.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
Sensitive fields (ID numbers, financial data) are masked in the user interface.
Access to personal data is restricted by role — only admins can view all records.
Audit logs record every access, change, and deletion.
Session tokens expire after 8 hours of inactivity.
scheduleData Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after account closure to comply with South African financial record-keeping requirements. Audit logs are retained for 2 years. Rental applications are retained for 5 years.
