These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EquipCore platform and any equipment rental arranged through it, operated by Novara Terra Industrials (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or submitting a rental application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle your personal information.

badgeEligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding rental agreement to create an account.
• Information you provide at signup and in any rental application (including your ID number, address, and financial details) must be accurate and current — inaccurate information may result in application rejection or account suspension.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

fact_checkRental Applications & Credit Checks

• Submitting a rental application does not guarantee approval — all applications are subject to equipment availability and, where applicable, a credit assessment.
• Where you consent to a credit check, we or our credit-check partner will perform a soft enquiry that does not affect your credit score. A fee may apply per check, as disclosed at the time.
• We reserve the right to decline an application, request additional information, or offer alternative equipment or terms.

handshakeRental Agreement

• Once an application is approved, the specific rental period, equipment, delivery arrangements, and pricing are confirmed by an administrator and form part of your binding rental agreement.
• You are responsible for the equipment for the duration of the rental period, including reasonable care, security, and prompt reporting of any damage, malfunction, or loss.
• Late returns, damage beyond normal wear and tear, or loss of equipment may result in additional charges.

paymentsPayment

Rental fees, credit-check fees, and any additional charges are payable as invoiced. Failure to make payment when due may result in suspension of your account and/or recovery action for outstanding amounts.

blockCancellations

You may request cancellation of a pending application at any time before approval at no charge. Cancellation of a confirmed rental is subject to the notice period and any cancellation fee communicated at confirmation.

gavelLiability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Novara Terra Industrials (Pty) Ltd's liability arising from your use of the platform or a rental is limited to direct damages and shall not include indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

updateChanges to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
